Experiments in Montana have shown that an SUV or truck driving on non-paved roads can pick up as many as 176 seeds in a 50-mile trip. ATVs can pick up as many as 200,000 seeds on a 48 mile off-road trip. Although not all of the seeds were from invasive plants, the problem is that hundreds of them were.
