No Borders for Six Rivers CISMA
Six Rivers Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area located in Florida's Panhandle was established in 2009 as a network to address the growing threat of invasive species in Northwest Florida. But they did not stop with the six original counties in Florida. They have grown to include three counties across the border in Alabama. Congratulations to Florida and Alabama for truly working across borders. Are there other Cooperative management areas out there working across state or national borders to address invasive species issues? I would love to hear from you and post your story on our blog. Email your story to Karan email@example.com.
