Mediterranean Fruit Flies Found in Florida
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services just announced that a number of Mediterranean fruit flies have been confirmed in Palm Beach County, Florida. The flies were found on traps in mango, loquat and sour orange trees. This is the first major outbreak of Med fly since the 9 county eradication program in 1997 and 1998.
