Support for the enemy-release hypothesis of invasive species

A very interesting article has come out on black cherry and why it is more aggressive in Europe than the US. Apparently it is because the US has a more virulent strain of soil fungus that keeps them in check. This seems to support the enemy-release hypothesis of invasive species.
