Senator Calls for a Carp Czar

Senator Dick Durbin has pleaded President Obama to appoint a carp czar to manage all measures taken to keep the Asian carp at bay. His concern is the result of a carp discovery in Lake Calumet. Durbin plans to introduce a bill that urges the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to investigate hydrologic separation of the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River to help solve the carp problem.
