Bret Shaw, an Extension environmental communication specialist and assistant professor in the University of Wisconsin at Madison Life Sciences communication department says a recent study shows what an important part the owners and employees of bait shops can play in educating fishermen and boaters to help to stop the spread of aquatic invasive species. Providing information and education materials to these businesses is a very useful strategy which can be used throughout the United States.
