Along the east coast this summer, the brown marmorated stink bug population exploded. This invasive insect, originally from Asia, is a major agricultural pest and a minor aggravating household pest. They have been spotted in New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and more. Researchers at the U.S. Department of Agriculture are working to find a natural enemy to fight the invasive insect.
